The Central Valley Project at UCLA 2019 Scholarship

In 2012, The Central Valley Project at UCLA was formed by undergraduate students with the mission to motivate Central Valley students to pursue higher education, mentor youth to build positive self-identities, and empower young student leaders in our communities. We are pleased to announce our scholarship opportunity for participating CVP students is once again open!

The application will close in May 4, 2019.

CVP Scholarship
All active CVP students who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four-year college or university are eligible to apply. Scholarship NOT limited to graduating seniors!

Applicants must complete the application below and submit all documents via email to centralvalleyproject@gmail.com by the deadline. Please use “CVP 2019 Scholarship_First Name Last Name” in the subject line for all submissions.

Application Includes the following:

1)Completed Application Cover Sheet 
2)Statement of Need (Seniors must submit copy of FAFSA or Dream Act Estimated Family Contribution)
3) 2 Short Essay Responses
4) A copy of high school transcript signed by counselor
5) One (1) letter of recommendation (Teacher, Advisor, Counselor). A CVP staff/mentor may not submit letters of recommendation. The letter of recommendation must be emailed by the recommender to centralvalleyproject@gmail.com by the deadline. 

The recommender should speak to the academic potential and/or community service involvement of the student. 


No late submissions of letters will be accepted.
